[First posted March 14, 2003, Last updated 3/1/2004] This board is the first user-created hoverboard model in the entire There history. It launched an avalanche of user-created hoverboards soon after its its debut in March 2004. It was featured as the first ever screenshot contest winner of the first ever There publication Life-In-There. You can see the screenshot here. You can buy it at There Auction. Tired of the standard lines of cruiser and radical hoverboards? Check out the first user-created dolphin-shaped hoverboard. This is a realistic 3D rendition of a Common Dolphin. The board first went on sale on March 27, 2003. 50 dolphins were sold for $7,000 each. Manufacturer promises to never lower the price. Next release of dolphins will be priced higher. The second release of 30 dolphins sold for $9,000 each until April 21, 2003. The third release of 30 dolphins was sold for $11,000 each. The fourth release of 30 dolphins are available at fixed-priced auction for $12,000 each. If you are unhappy with this price, contact individual dolphin owners to see if they will sell their used dolphins to you at lower price. The dolphin hoverboard handles just like any regular cruiser board. This is a new body and new skin for the cruiser hoverboard. There does not currently allow builders to create new bodies for other transportation devices such as the radical hoverboard and the buggy. |
